Alice.

Name:

Alice Cloutier-Lachance

Occupation:

University student - Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography (in Montreal, Canada)

Days in isolation:

Feels like 700 but 40 to be exact

Current mind frame\ thoughts about COVID-19:

Whilst anxious about the uncertainty around this pandemic, I’m very grateful to be healthy and have the luxury to consider this isolation as “free time”. I’m trying to make the most out of this time and stay creative!

What gets me out of bed:

Coffee, coffee and more coffee

Four things that have kept me sane throughout isolation:

1.

Trying to stay creative and creating sets to do photoshoots with whatever I can find! This is in the attic at my parent’s country house - I put up sheets on the celling and did a photoshoot. I shot on film and haven’t developed it yet so who knows if the photos will turn out nice - it was fun at least!

2.

Enjoying Canadian’s weird April weather - one minute it will be warm and feel like summer is finally around the corner and the next it will be snowing. In French we have an expression that says “En Avril ne te découvre pas d’un fil” which basically means warm weather in April isn’t to be trusted!

3.

Drinking red wine and making tote bags out of old sheets ! (Don’t think they will last very long but sewing is therapeutic and vino is always a great idea)

4.

Going for walks and enjoying the end of winter (Can’t wait for summer !!)
